SUBC Events

As a rowing club we host a variety of events each year. Every year we host an annual dinner and awards evening to acknowledge the hard work and success our club members have had over the season. We host the annual two cities challenge against Manchester University and varsity against Chester University every other year.

As part of the University Indoor Rowing Series 2017/18, Salford hosted the BUCS competition for Universities of the North West. After a great day of racing we saw plenty of PBs and heated competition between the Universities. Below you can see the draw and the results from the day as well as photos provided by our lovely Lia Stanway. We hope everyone enjoyed the day and look forward for the opportunity to host such an event again.

We hosted a 24 hour row for charity in 2019/2020, where 5 of our senior women rowed for a hour each every 5 hours for 24 hours. We were very proud to have raised over £1200 and the event winning the Student Lead Event award at the USSU 2020 awards.
